Local Service Providers We Trust

We all rely on people to help us manage our properties. As with any profession there are great people and some with questionable performance. Let's use this blog to share our experience with various service providers. For example, Eagle River Dock and Lift (715-220-4522) https://www.eagleriverdockandlift.com sells, installs, and removes piers and boat lifts. They provide great service and use a crane. They can place equipment where you want it with minimal damage. They are reliable and affordable. Please share who you use for: snow plowing, tree removal, care taking, etc. We might even get better service and rates by sharing our experience.
Tony I send you an email. We have Choictel. They have fiber optic cable on North Hunterlake Road. Very reliable and as much speed as you want to pay for. You would have to check with them if they would run the fiber. I have heard some use Sonicnet which is a wireless system.
Internet Anyone?
Does anyone have a recommendation for internet service on Hunter Lake? The research I've done isn't promising so was wondering what others are doing, if anything.
Roofing: We used Lakeland Roofing (worked with Brad) out of Minocqua 2 summers ago to re-roof our house and garage. I would absolutely recommend them. The bid was very competitive and the service was great. They came when they said they would, did a great job and cleaned up to the point where you wouldn't have known they were there. Plus, they were good about responding to emails and calls. I would use them again for sure.

Tree Service. Many people have used Klessig Tree Service. Web site http://www.klessigtreeservicellp.com, phone 715-479-9645. They are just down the road and are very competent. They can handle simple to big logging jobs.
Snowplowing: Gary LaGueux, Jr. is used by some residents. He snow blows using a skid steer so doesn't tear up a drive way. His rates were for a driveway was $35.00 a time. You can call when you need him vs requiring a service contract. Phone (715) 891-1205.
HVAC: We (Bill B) have used Quality Heating and Cooling out of Minocqua. http://qualityheatingminocqua.com, 715-358-2644. They serviced our old equipment and replaced our boiler and furnaces.. Very competent and great service. They show up when scheduled.
